CALL (406) 444-4800 WITH YOUR MESSAGES OPPOSING HB 318 The Montana House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on HB 318 a bad bill that changes the legal definition of “wild” buffalo or bison so that none would meet it – Yellowstone’s migratory herds – and none would ever be recognized as “wild” under Montana law. By definition, wild American bison – a beloved native wildlife species and our National Mammal – would be extinct under HB 318. The Montana House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on HB 318 beginning Tuesday, February 23 at 1 PM (MST). Each bill must pass 3 House votes. This will be the first vote.
